In an article for GQ this month, Boris speaks of his chances of being in a newly-formed Tory team to spearhead Gordon Brown. “Statistically, I am due to be fired again,” he writes, and “it may be that the psychological effort needed to haul myself around into a more gaffe-free zone proves too difficult.” Boriswatch is shocked – surely that isn’t the sound of Boris being defeatist?!
